Auctioneers Note: A&M Auctions is pleased to offer the Estate of Elizabeth Jane Miles and the contents of her home better known as the “The Levin B. Hall House” in Upper Fairmount, MD. The home was built sometime around 1840 and much of the contents are original to the home. The house and contents have received much notoriety having been visited by state governors and also featured in the 1980’s wonderworks film “Jacob Have I Loved” staring Bridget Fonda. There is an exquisite selection of Eastern Shore of MD antiques and primitives. The home is so packed full of historically important matters that the late Elizabeth Miles had plans to turn it into a public museum shortly before her passing. Allen and Marshall Auctions is pleased to bring the contents of the home to a one of a kind public auction and cordially invite you to bid at a once in lifetime On-Line Auction.
Directions: Our Auction Facility is located in Parsonsburg on the Eastern Shore of Maryland Approx. 100 Miles north of Norfolk, VA, 55 Miles South of Dover, DE, 100 East of Washington, DC and 18 miles West of Ocean City, MD. At the intersection of Rt. 50 and the Rt. 13 Bypass merge onto Rt. 50 East towards Ocean City and follow for 3.9 miles to the intersection of Rt. 50 & Forest Grove Rd. Turn North (left) onto Forest Grove Rd. and follow for 0.5 miles to Old Ocean City Rd. Right onto Old O. C. Rd. and follow for 1.2 miles to Esham Rd. Left onto Esham Rd. and follow for 1.2 miles to burgundy/tan building on left. Signs Posted.
