Pick Up Date: Items must be picked up at the Auction Site in Salisbury, MD on Saturday October 28th, 2023 from 9 AM – 12 noon. This is the only time that the Auction Co. will be onsite at the home for Pickup. Items not picked up by 12 Noon Saturday October 28th, 2023 will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of at the discretion of the Auction Co. And/Or Property owner. If you unable to attend the Auction pickup you must designate a person to pick your items up for you. Buyer is responsible for the following requirements. #1: Buyer is responsible for removing all items from the Property. #2: Buyer is responsible for bringing any required manpower required to move your items from the home to your vehicle #3: Buyer is Responsible for bringing any tools, boxes, tape, wrapping paper, Bubble wrap, blankets, Straps, wheel cart or dollies needed to remove your items from the property. The items that you purchased will be situated in the home as they were photographed at the time of the cataloging. You will be responsible for any boxing that is required to move/load your items. #4: Buyer is responsible for verifying that you have all of your items before leaving the property.
SHIPPING: A&M Auctioneers and Appraiser’s does not ship general auction merchandise, however shipping is available through one of three 3rd Party Shippers we utilize. They include the UPS Pack and Ship Store of Salisbury, MD/Delmar, DE & the Parcel Plus Store in Rehoboth Beach, DE. We can transport items back to our facility from the Auction Pickup site and then deliver the item(s) to a shipper for you for a fee. We deliver items once a week typically on Tue/Wed. You will pay the shipper directly for any and all costs associated with getting your items to you. Shipping has become very expensive. We have no control over the cost of shipping items. Please bid accordingly. We can’t provide you with shipping estimates. There may be large items in this auction that are not shippable and will require local pickup or for you to arrange a freight hauling/Professional moving service. Firearm Shipping: A&M Auctions will handle the shipping of Firearms & High Capacity Mags. Payment for the packing, materials, boxes, insurance, Signature Confirmation, handling & shipping of purchased lots is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Buyer is responsible for the actual cost of shipping. Shipping via US Postal Service Priority Mail or UPS. Shipping fees must be paid prior to the items being shipped. Shipping charges may be billed separately from the items won at auction. It may be 7-10 days time from the day the invoice for items won is charged & shipping charges are determined. IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD SHIPPING HAS BECOME VERY EXPENSIVE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU CHOSE NOT TO HAVE YOUR ITEMS SHIPPED. Shipping will not be available on some larger sized items. These items will be marked in the catalog. If you purchase an item marked with shipping not available the buyer will be responsible for hiring a moving/freight company and pay all associated costs.
Required Gun Paperwork: All modern firearms will be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer, who will be available @ The A&M Auctions Facility, to process the required paperwork to transfer the firearms. A transfer fee will be collected by the FFL dealer. Our FFL can transfer Modern Rifles/Shotguns to Residents of MD, DE, VA, WV & PA. If you live out of Maryland and purchase a pistol or banned firearm the firearm(s) must be transferred to an FFL Dealer in your state to process the required paperwork. FFL dealers must bring an original signed copy of their FFL Firearms will be taken back to the Auction Facility located at 8000 Esham Rd., Parsonsburg, MD 21849 for the background checks to be completed. FFL is available Monday 9-30-23 to Thursday 10-2-23. All Firearms should be picked up during this time frame.
SPECIAL NOTE IF YOU 18-21 YEARS OLD: The NICS Background check system is automatically delaying anyone between 18 and 21 years of Age. This delay offers the NICS staff to reach out to State and other Local Resources to do a thorough and comprehensive background check. This delay can last up to 10 Days. A&M Auctioneers has no control over this and will comply with Federal Law.
