Historically Important Indian Artifacts: Several Extremely Rare and Important Sioux Indian Artifacts owned by famous US Calvary Brigadier-General and Indian War fighter John Green Ballance (1853-1910). Items include: incredible beaded knife sheath, stunning beaded pipe bag with unusual side pouch, magnificent Sioux war club, beaded horse hair Quirk, leather beaded awl case, and Dutch influence wooden pioneer pipe. These items were scavenged on a clean-up mission days after the Battle of Big Horn on the battlefield of Custers Last Stand. Items come with documented provenance, notarized family letters and have been featured in several Indian Artistry books.

Pick-up: Items can be picked up at the Auction Site Friday March 31st from 12 Noon-6 PM. Local Pickup is recommended. Buyer is responsible for removing all items. Buyer is responsible for bringing any required manpower (Personnel to carry your items), tools, boxes, wrapping paper, tape, blankets, wheel cart or dollies needed to remove your items from the property. We will have Staff onsite to assist you in locating your items but they may not be available to assist in carrying of items.
Shipping: Allen and Marshall Auctioneers and Appraisers, LLC does not offer shipping. However, shipping is available through the local UPS Pack and Ship Store of Salisbury, MD. Please contact Milt at 410-749-5070 as soon as possible after the auction so that he has time to plan & coordinate the pickup. Allen and Marshall Auctioneers and Appraisers, LLC has no affiliation with the Pack and Ship store and has no control over pick-up fees or shipping freight fees through the UPS Store. Allen & Marshall Auctioneers and Appraisers is not a shipping company. If you want something packed or shipped please call the UPS Pack and Ship store or any other shipping company of your choosing and have them pick the items up for you.
